Alpavirama 2024
A youth film festival, one hundred filmmakers, and every part of running it.
What it was
The 7th Alpavirama International Youth Film Festival, hosted by the National Institute of Design.
What I did
I managed the festival and oversaw all aspects of coordination.
- Coordinated with more than 100 international filmmakers.
- Worked with producers from media houses including Sony LIV, Viacom18 and Lionsgate.
- Negotiated and managed sponsorship agreements with partners including Gujarat Tourism, Alliance Française and Picture Time, and made sure sponsor commitments were delivered on time.
- Directed the catalogue production and copy-editing team.
- Supervised the design and production of trophies, mementos and other event materials.
What came of it
I led the PR and marketing effort, and film submissions rose by 45%.
